I designed this ornament myself! When I was straightening up my Studio one day, I ran across a box full of pompoms. I'd bought them for a project in my daughter's bedroom, then she changed her mind and decided she didn't want the piece. As I was trying to decide what ornament I wanted to make for my quilt group ladies, this idea came to me. It combines pompoms and beads, giving the ornament a bit of glitz. They look very pretty when the light catches them, but they are still fairly light so the don't drag down the tree branches. I was able to make 25 of these ornaments in short order, once I pre-cut the ribbons and organized all the various parts. I've created an Adobe Acrobat document (.pdf file) with all the directions.
