Autumn Wreaths

For a change of pace, I decided to make some autumn wreaths for my front porch. The small wreath, about 12 inches in diameter, hangs just over the doorbell. The large wreath, about 18 inches in diameter, is best seen when leaving through the front door.

These were incredibly simple to make. I simply bought two autumn leaf garlands from Wal-Mart's floral department. I bought some autumn wired ribbon from Wal-Mart's craft department.

I already had some old wreaths. I took the faded decorations off, then wrapped 1-1/2 garlands around the large wreath, 1/2 garland around the small wreath.

Then I used my Deluxe E*Z Bowmaker to create a nice floral bow from the wired ribbon and tied it onto the large wreath.

These wreaths add a nice touch of color to our home's entrance.
