| Wash, dry and press your stitchery.
Using an oval shaped template, determine the dimensions of the opening of your frame. I took my template and put various sizes of ovals around the stitchery. Then I chose the size that looked most pleasing.
Trim the fabric around your stitchery so that it is larger than the oval you chose. I trimmed my fabric on the sixth hole away from the outside stitches for this small ornament.
Depending on the size of your Frame opening, you may wish to leave more fabric around the edge of your stitchery. You will trim it to its finished size in Step 11, once you have the exact dimensions of your tuck ornament.
