The Backing and the Frame use the same decorator fabric. The Batting is a thin layer of polyester batting as used in quilting. The Lining can be a plain fabric that complements the Backing and Frame or you can use another piece of the same decorator fabric.
Three ovals are drawn onto the fabric. The smaller oval where the stitchery tucks in, should be slightly larger than the outer dimensions of your stitchery (Stitching Line). The second oval (1/4" Seam Allowance) will be the size of your stitchery plus the width of your finished frame. The largest oval (Cutting Line) adds a 1/4" seam allowance. |
