The front of the tote will be on the fold of the fabric.
Using a tailor's chalk or other marking tool and straight edge ruler or T-square, mark the bottom cutting line on your fabric. Remember to add 1-1/2" for the top hem and 1/2" for the bottom seam. Also mark the back cutting line perpendicular to the bottom cutting line, making sure to add 1/2" for the back seam allowance. |
