To make the paper template symmetrical, I folded my traced outline in half along the vertical center line. I then measured 1/2 inch from the outline and made a dashed border at that point.
With the paper still folded in half, I cut out my paper template on the dashed line. After I cut the template and opened it, I decided if any alterations were needed. I folded the template in half again, and cut some minor adjustments so the outline would be smooth, without any odd points. |
