I've made a few of these little banner-on-a-hanger ornaments. They've all come from kits. I've not seen the little plastic hangers in a craft shop (yet!), so I'm not sure where they can be purchased. The hanger is about 3 inches wide by 1 inch high.
If you can't find the plastic hangers, you can use this same finishing technique with other materials. For a country look, try using a twig for the crossbeam with twisted cord or twine for the hanger. Or you make a hanger out of fine wire that you shape into the form you want. A third idea is to use a small dowell with a ribbon for the hanger. Use your imagination!
Here's how I finished my kits. These directions are a bit different than the directions in the kit package. I use needle and fiber for my finishing. The kits have you use adhesive tape.
