For a pleasing proportion, make the top border equal to the sides and bottom.

Using a double running stitch (or back stitch) and the same perle coton fiber, sew the casing in place.

Hide any knots you need to make inside the casing.

Handle the hanger with care while you're stitching; it's easy to snap the plastic by accident!
