I met America Online's (AOL) wonderful family of Stitchers in the Spring of 1994. At the time, I'd done a bit of counted cross-stitch, but it didn't amount to much more than Christmas ornaments and refrigerator magnets. I had no idea that there were wonderful, complex charts out there—much less addicts that loved to stitch them!

Since meeting my cyber-stitching friends, attending the needlework chats on AOL, reading the internet newsgroup, rec.crafts.textiles.needlework, and joining some listserves devoted to stitching, I've learned much about this wonderful needleart. And as I've learned, my skills have grown. I've completed quite a number of charts, and my "To Do Pile" has grown by leaps and bounds, as has my shelf of catalogs and books, my stash of fabrics, and skeins of fibers.

So in this section of my site, I have bragging rights. Here are listed my accomplishments and images of my completed work. I find it an interesting study in how I've utilized new techniques along the way. Perhaps down the road I'll add charts of some of the bookmarks and other simple things I've designed-like the RoseRule and Rose Bullet that I use throughout my Stitcher's Studio! (Yep! They started as cross-stitch charts!)
