After being away from stitching for two months, I decided to start back in by stitching something small, quick-to-stitch, and for which I had all the supplies.

At an EGA meeting at the end of 1998, we were given a kitted chart for a Christmas ornament. I pulled that out of my stash, and got back to my needle. I was able to finish this chart in one sitting. It was very satisfying.

The chart calls for glass beads, which I did not have on hand, so I simply stitched Xs in their place. The chart actually has two designs. The first looks much the same as this, but says instead, "Have a Merry Idaho Christmas."
