I stitched this Halloween towel for my EGA Secret Sister. I wanted something to stitch on a peach-colored towel I had in my stash, but could not find just the right chart. So I took bits and pieces of other charts, and designed my own pattern. I used a computer program, Pattern Maker, to do the charting.
The moon, bats and lettering were borrowed from a Shepherd's Bush chart. The jack-o-lantern is a design by Sam Hawkins. The border was inspired by a graph by Donna Kooler (see details below). It took a bit of "fiddling" to get a pleasing combination, but I'm happy with the result.
