Do you see a pattern here? It seems I usually finish my family's Christmas ornaments sometime after the New Year! :::shrugging::: Oh, well...
This year the ornaments were not all from the same collection.
- Jeanne's snowman is called The Weather Outside by Sue Hillis Designs
- My elf is called Elfie by Twisted Threads
- Jodie's Angel is a Holiday Arches design by Alice Okon
- Dale's Penguin is also a Holiday Arches design by Alice Okon
- Julie's dog is called Puppy Card (designer not named)
Once again I didn't stitch the charts exactly as shown in the magazines. The first design has words on the chart, which I left off. The second is charted with Sampler Threads, but I used DMC stranded floss. The next two ornaments originally had an arched border — like a cathedral window — around them. And the last chart is shown in the magazine as a Christmas card insert.
I finished these ornaments as small stuffed pillows, four with satin ribbon hangers. I'd learned to make cording at an EGA meeting, so I tried that technique at home. So my ornament has a twisted cord for a hanger, made of the same colors of floss I used in the ornament.
