I stitched this little angel in waste canvas over a mended spot on my daughter Jodie's jumpsuit. The hole was near the neckline. So I told Jodie that this way she always could have an angel on her shoulder.
The patch almost worked! The hole was bigger than the angel, so the fabric I used to cover the hole still shows behing the angel's wing. I told Jodie, "That's just one of the clouds in heaven."
I'm glad it didn't take long to stitch, because she grew out of the jumpsuit in no time at all!
