This little chart was a freebie in one of my cross-stitch catalogs. I don't know who the designer is, but it was copyrighted in 1990 by Wichelt Imports. The original chart had three choices of color combinations for the eggs—none of which I liked! So this is the first piece I've stitched where I changed all the floss colors to suit myself.
The lettering was not part of the original chart. I added that from an alphabet leaflet I owned. I framed the piece in a 6 inch embroidery hoop with some batting. I added some ribbon around the edge and as a bow and hanger. I also added some lace trim from my stash. Then I finished the back by gluing on some cardboard. I'll hang this on my front door during the Easter season.
