Beaded Rose Pin

name
My secret pal sent this kit to me for Christmas, 1995. This was the first time I attempted to do a completely beaded project on perforated paper. I found it fun and relaxing. It took a bit of effort to learn to get the last bead to have the same tension as the first beads on any one strand of floss. The secret is in how you tie off each strand on the back of your work. This piece is finished by fusing interfacing to the back of the perforated paper, and then sewing on the pin clasp.
