Projects in 1996
 

    January
  • I completed a couple fingertip towels that I received from my Secret Pal.
  • I also stitched this Santa ornament, a Christmas gift kit.
  • Then I tried beading for the first time with a rose pin kit from Mill Hill.
  • Finally, I made two baby gifts for a friends from church. The first is for McKinley.
  • The second baby design is for Jack.

    April

  • I completed A Baby's Lock of Hair for my 2 year old.
  • Then I made a bookmark of my own design for my online friend, Wendy.

    May

  • I completed Just Nan's Snow Forest

    July

  • On July 26 I finished an anniversary chart by Stoney Creek for my Mom and Dad who celebrated their golden anniversary in August.
  • I then had my first stab at silk ribbon embroidery with a card and a beaded pin which I sent to my Secret Sisters.

    September

  • I got a room in my house to call my own STUDIO!!! All my arts and crafts and stitching and sewing and tools is all in one place, all organized! I keep my computer there, too.

  • Later that month I made a door hanger that says, "Kid Sleeping."

    October

  • I did my first waste canvas project, a Jack-o-lantern designed by Virginia Douglas.
