This little puppy in a basket was stitched for my middle daughter, Julie, who is a dog-lover. Ever since I gave this piece to her, she's been drooling over the beagles in the pet shop ... but she got a little black cat instead.

The original chart shows the design stitched on an afghan. I did it as a framed piece instead. I purchased it at a big craft shop in Spokane where all the cross-stitch was half price! I think the way the puppy's eyes cry for attention made me pick this one up.
