Goose Wall Hanging

Goose

Part of the fun of the online experience is meeting people all over the country/world. I was part of a secret sister circle on America Online and stitched this little wall hanging for her. She enjoyed country decorating, and I thought this little goose fit the bill.

The goose was a free chart by J&P Coats that I picked up at a craft store. The fabric was in my stash. I like the way the colors pop on the black ground cloth. The leaflet's models were stitched on 14 count white aida. I converted the J&P floss to DMC colors. The finishing technique is something I made up as a went along using lace and ribbon that I had in my stash.

Goose DetailIn addition to the Goose, the free chart also has a patterns for Tulips and Apple Basket, also in the shape of a heart.
