Winter Cool

Winter Cool by Ursula Michael
This cute little snowman ornament was made for my daughter Jodie for Christmas 2007.

Again, it was stitched in plenty of time, but I didn't get to the finishing work before Christmas. Ah, well. The best laid plans ...

The snowman pattern is just a piece of a chart from Stitcher's World magazine, January 2005. I wasn't crazy about the sampler, but I really liked this element, so pulled it out and stitched it as a stand-alone piece. I really love the colors and shading. For a small piece, it has a lot of depth.

Stitched November 18 - 24, 2007
