Spring Sampler Heart

I've reached my goal!

Here's the twelfth and final heart for the charity quilt. The chart is adapted from a freebie that I received from Kreinik in 1998.

I made up my own color scheme and mixed the sampler rows around a bit to find a mix that I liked. But then, I'm not sure I like the main ribbon of blue with the two shades of purple circles. It really looked much prettier when it was just the blue lace. But by the time I decided I liked it plain, I'd already committed to the 3-color scheme due to the amount I stitched.

I may try using that part of this pattern again. Maybe in a bookmark! It's really pretty with just the lacy effect. Hmmmm. Perhaps with an overdyed floss ...
