Redwork Penguin Towel

Redwork Penguin Towel
I wanted to stitch a little something for my daughter Julie for Christmas. But the days leading up to the holiday were just too jam packed with activity. So I wrapped up the components of this gift and put it under the tree.

I was able to make good on the promised gift right away. That's good, because she had to head back south to school the day after I finished the stitching.

Julie is the daughter that most likes to work with me side-by-side in the kitchen. For her gift, my husband and I got her a set of stainless steel cookware. It seemed fitting that she have a holiday towel to accompany that gift. Julie's favorite animal is the penguin. When I found the cute pattern of a penguin all dressed up for Christmas, I knew I had to stitch it for her.
