I'm hoping to stitch 12 bookmarks for charity this year. This week I got an itch to stitch several. All four of the charts I stitched this week were freebies.

I liked the simplicity of this little girl. I stitched it on a scrap of fabric left over from the ornaments I finished earlier in the month.

It's rather big for a bookmark, measuring 2-1/4" x 7". I finished it with just two rows of running stitch to create hems on the sides, and then fringed the top and bottom.

The pattern was found on the web on a site that is no longer in service.
