Better Late Than Never, I suppose.

I'd gotten all the stitching done on this ornament in plenty of time for Christmas, but was trying to finish the stitching on three additional ornaments, then do the finishing all at the same time.

I ran into a snag with the Gingerbread Lane ornament, and the entire schedule was blown.

But no worries. This little penguin was stitched for my middle daughter, Julie. She loves penguins. She got to see the stitching all done. I'll get the completed ornament to her soon.

Since I try to make an ornament for each family member every year, this little guy will go in the box for now, and join the others on the tree next year ... and for years to come.
