The pattern for my ninth chart for the charity quilt was adapted from a freebie I received with a cross-stitch mail order years ago. The original chart, Hearts & Flowers, is from Mosey 'n Me and can be found on their website.
I had to move things around quite a bit to make this pattern work within the heart shape. Then I needed to add several more hearts to the left side of the design area. I guess it came out OK, but of all the hearts I've stitched for this quilt, I like this one the least. It seems a bit whacky out-of-balance.
I do like the yellow stripes in the background, though. I think that helped tie the rest of the hearts and flowers together.
