Be My Valentine Bookmark

This pattern has been in my stach for quite a long time. It is a border pattern which was designed by a member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of EGA, Lynn Schall.

I enjoy using border patterns as bookmarks. Some, like this, are more horizontal patterns than vertical. Yet I still think it's effective as a bookmark.

For this piece, I used an odd-lot variegated floss that is mostly pink with a bit of yellow. For the fabric, I used a bit of aida banding with the pretty pink scallop.

This one is sweet and lovely.
