Rudolph

Here's my December ornament for charity. Hooray! Done with that obligation for the year!

This little Rudolph was a freebie that I've had in my stash for eons. Well, maybe not eons — I can't find a copyright date on the pattern. But it's from Blue Heron Designs.

The pattern called for Gentle Art Sampler Threads. I used a couple of those (for the fur and antlers) so they have that nice overdyed look, but I used DMC for the eyes, nose and mouth.

I also used that funky olive green aida because I had a scrap of it about the right size. After the stitching was done, the design didn't POP, so I backstitched all around and it looks a lot better.
