Little Jack Horner

Our Cross Stitching for Charity group is making a quilt with a nursery rhyme theme. I decided to participate in this because I have a wonderful book of nursery rhyme designs that I've never used before.

I chose to stitch Little Jack Horner ... mostly because it was the right size for a quilt block. It was one of those charts that was just fun to stitch from beginning to end. Great shading. Not too much backstitch. Lovely details.

The book is Tedd Arnold's Cross-Stitch Patterns for Mother Goose's Words of Wit and Wisdom. The charts in this book are detailed and wonderfully shaded.

I almost hate to give this one away!
