Humble Gratitude

Here's a piece that I stitched in 2006, but only now managed to complete the finishing work on. I turned it into a tote bag!

Not only that, but I documented my process, and have presented a slide show on how to finish your stitchery as a tote.

In this version, the stitchery becomes the pocket for the tote bag. You can see how I made mine in Cameo's Completions - Pocket Tote Bag.

I used an old crushed velvet bedspread as the fabric for my tote.

As for the chart itself, it was stitched with Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Unfortunately, the company that made this design, 4 My Boys, is now going out of business.

Stitched July 21 - 22, 2006
