Santa-corn

Santa Corn by The Cricket Collection
This is the third piece I'm pre-stitching for my finishing class in June where I'll to learn how to complete five different types of stitchery projects.

This tiny piece will be finished as an ornament mounted on an ornament finishing form. Finishing forms look something like covered buttons, only they are bigger and come in shapes other than a circle.

I've had some of these finishing forms in my stash for over a year, but have never gotten around to learning to use them. This class ought to solve that problem! I'll be sure to post pictures of my finishes when I get home from the class.

By the way, if this chart looks familiar, it may be because I stitched it in February 2004 on perforated plastic and turned it into a pin.
