This is the second piece I'm pre-stitching for my class in June where I'll to learn how to finish five different types of stitchery projects.
This little patriotic piece will be finished as a box/cube stand-up. This finishing idea intrigues me because of the possibility of finishing a cube that has stitching on all six sides. It gives me a lot to consider, anyway.
This box will have stitchery on only one side with fabric covering the other five sides and embellished with a ribbon bow. I'll be sure to post pictures of my finishes when I get home from the class.
Stitched May 27 - May 28, 2006
Here's what the piece looks like finished as a box/cube.
