Really. That is the name of the chart!

This cute penguin was made for my daughter's 20th birthday. She's recently become obsessed with penguins ... especially since seeing the movie, March of the Penguins. Now the cute critters are on posters in her dorm room and waddling around on her blog.

I found this pattern by Mosey 'N Me in the October 2006 edition of Just Cross Stitch. It is a companion to an ornament that will be featured in this year's Just Cross Stitch special ornament issue. He is just too cute to pass up.

I used the directions printed in the magazine to finish it as a door knocker. The photo is 60% of actual size. The body of the door knocker measures about 4.5" x 5".

My daughter's birthday is about a bit over a week away. I'm so happy to have the gift done in time for me to mail it to her at school!
