I found this cute, simple chart in a newsletter from a shop in Florida, Needle Delights. It was a black and white chart on purple paper, so I wasn't sure what the finished result would look like. It was charted for Gentle Arts Sampler Threads or DMC or Anchor floss. I chose DMC since it's what I have handy.
The ornament stitched up in just a couple hours. I backed it with a piece of solid purple cotton fabric and added the purple satin ribbon for a hanger.
These quick projects are very satisfying! With a few of these under my belt, I'm ready to start on a more complex chart.
