Here's the fifth in the series of ornaments from Heart in Hand's leaflet called Woodland Christmas.

I used DMC Verigated Yellow Orange 108 on the star and regular DMC for the border. What makes the star extra interesting are the two bands of Oblong Smyrna cross used toward the top of the star. Nice detail!

I chose a chunky yellow and white check with black highlights as the backing. Quirky, but cute.
