Here's the eighth in the series of ornaments from Heart in Hand's leaflet called Woodland Christmas.
This time I used a specialty thread for the body of the reindeer, 2238 Sweet Potato by Weeks Dye Works. The rest is stitched with DMC floss. Instead of stitching the eye, I used a black seed bead.
For the background, I chose a very UN-Christmasy fabric. It's a brown plaid! The base fabric is brown with yellow, deep orange, black and white stripes that make up the uneven plaid. Slightly unusual.
Others in the series:
* Tree
* Noel
* Bird
* Poinsettia
* Star
* Snowman
* Candle
