Woodland Christmas Bird

Woodland Christmas Bird by Heart in Hand
Here's the third in the series of ornaments from Heart in Hand's leaflet called Woodland Christmas.

I used DMC 122 for the body of the bird. That's a variegated olive green. I like the way the bird's face is light, but belly and tail are dark. Then I used a green seed bead for the bird's eye.

I finished this one with a wild blue and green fabric. It's not exactly something you'd see on a traditional Christmas ornament!

Others in the series:
*   Tree
*   Noel
