Here's another bookmark by that talented designer, Clair Louise Coult of Dumani Designs. The first of her designs that I stitched was Assisi Bookmark #1.
This time I used a navy perle coton for the fiber rather than two strands of black floss as recommended. The bookmark is charted with five motifs. Once stitched, that seemed a bit short to me, so I stitched mine with six motifs. It was very simple to add to the length of this design — I didn't even need to chart it.
The whole bookmark was easily completed in one evening. I gave the finished bookmark as a birthday gift to one of the gals in my quilt group, St. George's Quilters.
