Kara, a beautiful girl who used to live down the street, babysat my girls, and taught them to play the piano, is now a mommy. I haven't seen her in years, but I ran into her dad at the grocery store where he gave me the news.
Kara was brand new at cross-stitch when I knew her. We used to talk about charts we liked and the latest project we were stitching. She borrowed floss every now and then. She stitched a lot for gifts.
Now it's my turn to give a gift to her and her baby girl. I chose a chart from my stash that had sweet baby items, and stitched it on a bib that was also in my stash for just such an occassion.
