I whipped this Dimensions Daydream kit up in a day for my ailing next door neighbor. My teenage daughter was invited to her 72nd birthday party, and I wanted to make a special gift.

Peggy was quite the gardener in her day. But her recent illness has made it almost impossible for her to go outside and enjoy her flowers.

I love these little Daydream kits! They are so simple and so pretty. The color blending is very nice. The charts are much more detailed than what I'd normally expect from simple kits like these. I liked this one in particular because of the little dragonfly charm that you get to dangle through the cardboard cutout of the background.

If I had more time, I'd have figured out a better way to finish the hanger on this piece. My daughter and I were extremely rushed for time while finishing this piece, though, so the piece is not quite as tidy as I'd like. All in all, though, it was an enjoyable piece to stitch.

All components for this kit come in the box for about $10.00 — fabric, floss, needle, cardboard backing, charm and glass. The finished size of the piece is 5" square.
