Here's the second of the five ornaments I stitched for my family for Christmas, 2001. I didn't get around to making a Christmas ornament on the 25th of September, so this is my catch-up ornament. (Is there a pattern building here?) Last month I stitched the penguin. This is a Christmas tree for my oldest daughter.
These $.99 kits came with a wire that you get to twist into a hanger. Cute! These ornaments don't use cotton floss. Instead, it's a single strand fiber in bright colors ... feels like it might have some polyester in it because the fiber is slightly stretchy, but the fibers don't fray at the ends, so
I'm not sure what it's made of.
