Holiday Penguin

Holiday Penguin
Here's another little project I finished. I didn't get around to making a Christmas ornament on the 25th of August, so this is my catch-up ornament. My girls and I found a bunch of very cute ornament kits at a discount/overstock store for only $.99 each! So we picked out one for each of us.

This one is for me, a dancing "Holiday Penguin" in a Santa hat with a little holly sprig, a striped scarf around his neck. It came with a wire that you get to twist into a hanger. Cute!

These ornaments don't use cotton floss. Instead, it's a single strand fiber in bright colors ... feels like it might have some polyester in it because the fiber is slightly stretchy, but the fibers don't fray at the ends, so I'm not sure what it's made of.
