This was another quickie piece. I just love the expression on the face of this silly cat. It looks like it's saying, "Hey! I got a bird on my back!"
I stitched this up as a surprise for my daughter for her 17th birthday. I was able to complete it without her knowing I was even working on it — a feat!
The chart called for some Weeks Dye Works floss, but I didn't have that in my stash, so substituted some DMC floss. I used:

I also did some outlining that wasn't charted simply to help the grey of the cat stand out better against the tan of the fabric. It seemed to need more contrast.
