I chose to use 6-stranded embroidery floss instead of the perle coton called for in the instructions because it's what I had on hand. That choice may have added to the difficulty of this tassel. I found it very hard to hide the tails in the braid. This is another tassel that frustrated my creative energy.

There are six two-inch tassels attached to this braided cording.
