Tassel with Whipped Spider Stitch Head |
|
If I were to make this kind of tassel again, I think I'd make a smaller, rounder head. This one is fairly egg-shaped. My head is not divided exactly evenly, but it is close. It was the first time I'd done the whipped spider stitch, and it was fun. As I was working this stitch, it came to mind that I'd like to try some Temari techniques on a tassel head since Temari are divided into sections the in a similar way this tassel head is divided. This is a six inch tassel made from an ugly green yarn. The whipped spider stitch is made with DMC #5 perele coton, #906 green.
