Tassel with Needlelace-covered Head |
|
I did find that it was very important to be careful not to pierce the fibers of the head with the needlelace needle. And I found that by not stitching a "last row", but instead to just gently tug on the lace covering and stitch it to the top of the collar helped the lace open up and look very pretty. This is a six inch tassel made of brown 4-ply acrylic yarn. The needlelace is stitched with gold DMC #5 perle coton.
