I made this tassel twice. The first time I had trouble keeping the head smooth. I'm really pleased with this one which I turned in for evaluation. I like the look of the twisted cord. The instructor did say that if the cord is wound tighter, it will not fray as easily with heavy use.

This tassel is made from white crochet cotton. It has a lot of body and is nice and full. It's one of my favorites.
