In October my sister wrote to me with a chain letter. She had received it from an elderly woman that she helped to care for, Esther.
Esther had received the chain letter from her favorite niece. My sister doesn't normally pass on these chain letters, but she asked me if I would mind fulfilling this one because her client was so excited about it.
I asked my sister if Esther had any favorite colors or flowers. My sister responded that she liked roses, and knew I did too, so recommended that I stitch roses for her. I found this chart in one of the books in my stash. It stitched up very quickly! I was able to send the towel off in record time.
My sister wrote that Esther loved her towel. And I seem to have impressed my sister, too.
Every now and then it feels good to go out of my way to stitch something for someone whose life is not as easy as mine right now.
