November Birthday Fairy

November Birthday Fairy by Barbara Baatz
This is the second of three birthday fairies I want to stitch for my daughters. I stitched the September Birthday Fairy in 1998 for my daughter Julie. I stitched this one for my daughter Jeanne.

I had hoped to complete it in November of 1999, but I got stuck while stitching the border of this one. You see, I accidentally rearranged the colors of the border. I stitched greens where the browns were supposed to be, and vice versa. After looking at it for a number of months, I decided to just leave it and let my daughter's fairy be unique.

Like the other fairy, this one also has blending filament in the wings and beads in the borders.
